Castle Combe Race Day

The special interest group enjoyed a trip to Castle Combe race circuit for the Combe Countdown August Bank Holiday challenge. 10 of the 12 members present had not experienced this type of photography before and had great fun panning to try and capture images at slow shutter speeds. The consencious was that there were few sharp images amongst the very many taken. Having started with free practice in the morning the actual races were stunningly quick presenting even more problems. However, there were 12 races giving lots of opportunity to improve our technique, and we are keen to repeat this trip. Many thanks goes to Caroline and Peter for organising such a fun packed day. GC
