Day of the Dead - London
Day of the Dead or Dia de Los Muertos , is a holiday that celebrates the lives of deceased loved ones remembering them with joy rather than mourning their loss. This is a street photographer’s paradise and so 8 members of the club went to London for a day out and to see what this was all about. We even had 2 of our group that were so inspired they had their faces painted as well and became part of the number who had their images taken rather than taking images. It was a fun day out and we all got back to our train tired but happy to have been part of this amazing event. Below are some of the many images we took over the day. If you can’t get to London, Swindon is now holding this event as well so hopefully next year we will see many more images ,some of which will be more local.
