Jane Austen Festival in Lacock
As a new event as part of the annual Bath Jane Austen Week, just over 100 of those participating came to Lacock last Thursday 17th September 2026. 13 members of the photography club made their way to Lacock to photograph the event. Making ideal subjects the members of the public dressed in Regency clothing were helpfully willing to have their photographs taken and presented below are more than 100 images from the morning. With very strong sun light as the morning went on it became a challenge to photograph them to the best effect. We all throughly enjoyed the opportunity to capture these images in an appropriate location and thank all the participants very much for their willingness to be photographed. Many of the costumes were made by their wearers and many of them came from all parts of the world to take part in the festival.
