Photography Treasure Hunt in Oxford
10 members of the club went to Oxford on 1st June 2025. Parking in the Redbridge park and ride for the 10am start we all decided to go for coffee and cake first, to give us enough energy for the task ahead. Actually the truth is that we all just like cake so any excuse and Penny and Gerald had found a lovely French Patisserie called Saint Clair Valentine on a recce the previous week that they were keen to introduce us to. Fortified and very impressed, we set forth and with the 9 words Penny gave us that we can interpret anyway we chose and the wild card we have for an image of our choice. This is a good way to stretch our photography both in terms of skills but also visual awareness and creativity. Two hours later we met up and had lunch at the covered market that has lots of small independent shops and also a wide variety of excellent quality food stalls. We then decided to have another few hours photography to see if we could find any different images for our words. We met up at the police station bus stop to go back to the car park. Everyone enjoyed their day and below are the results of what we took. PC
