Street & Architectural  photography, London South Bank

This event attracted 8 photographers from the club who made their way up to London. Warm sunny weather brought out hoards of tourists and we had very harsh lighting conditions but that was not going to prevent us trying our best. The South Bank of the Thames provides lots of places interest including Leake Street Arches which is a graffiti tunnel, Tate Modern, Millennium Bridge and views of St Pauls Cathedral, Tower Bridge, the Shard , the Millennium Wheel and Westminster. Stops were made on the way along the South Bank to photograph things that took our interest and with the tide out we also had access to the beach. A big thanks go to Caroline for organising another interesting day out with the Special Interest Group. PC

There are a number of people that you can follow on Youtube that have great videos on street photography. One of my favourites in Sean Tucker and his video on layering an image something that we can all think about.

Other Street Photographers that you can look at are Mark Fearnley , Rupert Vandervell and Brian Lloyd Duckett with Street Snappers. PC
