Pete Evans - It all begins with an idea.

This is a photo taken at the Bournemouth Airshow in August 2015. This was the last time I saw the Vulcan Bomber flying before it was grounded for the last time a short time later. The light conditions were very tricky. The image was taken with a Canon 5D mark 3 and a 160 -600mm Sigma lens.

I have now migrated to using the OM1 system camera and a few lenses, mainly the 12-100mm F4, 90mm macro, 40-150mm zoom and the 17mm F1.8 lens. I also have the 1.4 and 2.0 extenders to go with the 10-150 F2.8 lens.

My photographic interest covers aviation, motor sport, macro, landscape ,but prefer seascape and starting to get interested in street photography.

What is always in my bag extra to cloths, spare batteries and memory cards is a flask of coffee and some energy bars and chocolate with the favourite being a mars bar.
