Photographing the Moon in the Landscape

A Major Lunar Standstill is coming! If you want to know what one is and why it provides once-in-19-year photographic opportunities, all will be explained. Robert Harvey will show you how to capture images of the rising and setting Moon over iconic landmarks such as Stonehenge, Glastonbury Tor, Durdle Door, Prince of Wales Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral.  He will cover tips, tools and apps that enable you to be in the right place at the crucial moment, plus how to ensure correct exposure and focus.

Tutor Robert Harvey BA ARPS EFIAP CSci CEnv MCIWEM is the author of several books on photography and astronomy including “Photographing the Heavens”, “Night Sky”, “Deep Space and “Solar System”. He is currently commissioned by English Heritage to photograph the imminent Major Lunar Standstill over Stonehenge.
