Annual Monochrome Print Competition

Last night Steve Field ARPS EFIAP/b AWPF AIPF BPE3*joined us to judge the Annual Monochrome Print Competition. He gave us some excellent and detailed critique on our images, allowing members to learn a lot from him and remarked on the high standard of work submitted. At half-time over tea and coffee members of the club were able to view the prints judged to that point and were impress with the number of genres covered in the images presented for judging and agreed with the judge that the standard of work was indeed very high.

In first place with ‘Calla Lily’ was Bridget Codrington. Bridget was presented with the Henry Fox Talbot Trophy for best Monochrome Print Image by Steve Field.

Robert Harvey came second with ‘Curlew with Worm’

and Phil Dent came third with ‘1920 Decadence in London’
