Astro Adventures

Last night we enjoyed a fantastic stellar performance from Abby Moule, aka Astro Abby, learning about her night time adventures in the dark sky areas of the UK.

A huge amount of planning and preparation go into a single shoot in addition to weather considerations, the moon phase, light pollution and Abby’s busy family life!

Abby’s resulting images show incredible night sky events including aurorae, star trails, meteors, the ISS, the milky way and of course the moon.

Most of us present in the Town Hall tonight actually live very close to a dark sky area near Devizes, so we have no excuse not to go out one evening to enjoy the wonders of the night sky.
