Creative Trees and Woodlands.

What a wonderfully creative evening!

Janet Miles ARPS CPAGB BPE2 AFIAP returned to Devizes Photography Club for the second time and took us on a journey through the way she sees the world — not simply as scenes in front of the camera, but as photographs waiting to be discovered.

From local woodlands to Louisiana, India and Australia, Janet showed how changing conditions, beautiful light and a willingness to experiment can completely transform what we see.

We also explored the creative techniques behind her work, including ICM, multiple exposure, blend modes and the Pep Ventosa technique, before Janet talked us through her ARPS panel and the thinking behind its creation.

We suspect a few DPC members may be found wandering their local woods today, enthusiastically waving their cameras around in the name of ICM!
