Frome Wessex Camera Club V Devizes Photography Club Battle

The judge for the evening Lee Spencer-Fleet LRPS had a very tough job on her hands for this year’s battle as the standard of images from both teams was incredibly high. Half time scores were Devizes 181 points and Frome 187.

Devizes managed to pull some points back in the second half. Sadly we did not bring home the Lynda Croft Memorial Trophy this time, the final score was Devizes Photography Club 376 points, Frome Wessex Camera Club 378.

It was a friendly battle with great support all round and Frome’s hospitality was second to none. Members from Devizes would especially like to thank Hazel who does the baking for Frome Wessex and the lemon drizzle cake got a definite thumbs up from members of Devizes.

Thank you to everyone who took part and came along to cheer. Hopefully we’ll bring Lynda’s trophy back to Devizes next year.
