Open Print 01
Print Competition 01 – Results!
What a fantastic evening of print photography at Devizes Photography Club!
Tuesday saw our first Open Print Competition of the season, with 68 entries across our Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced sections, showcasing a wonderful variety of subjects, styles and photographic approaches.
We welcomed Les Loosemore ARPS DPAGB AWPF as our judge, who entertained members while providing thoughtful, constructive feedback throughout the evening.
Les went a step further by bringing along specially cut mounts, which he placed over photographs to demonstrate how a different crop could change the composition and feel of an image. A brilliant practical way to illustrate his feedback and offer a fresh perspective on the photographs!
He was impressed by the quality of the entries, remarking that he wished he had more time to give some of the photographs the critique they deserved.
Congratulations to our winners!
