1940’s Didcot Railway Station

On Saturday 2nd May 16 members of the club went to Didcot railway station where they had a 1940’s event. We were able to photograph not only the railway trains in steam but also a number of reenactors dress in 1940’s costume including one in the Queen Mother’s old carriage that had been brought back to period detail. it was very interesting talking to the actors as they had a wonderful grasp of history of the time. There was certainly a lot to photograph.
