Castle Combe Motorcycle National Race Weekend
About 18 club members met at Castle Coombe racetrack on Saturday 25th July 2026 to photograph a motorbike racing day. This was a full day from 9am to 5pm.
The weather was dry but not too hot with cloud cover and a cooling breeze in the afternoon.
The day consisted of time qualification races in the morning and racing in the afternoon. The bikes ranged from 125cc up to 600cc also with bikes and sidecar qualification and racing.
Members spent their time perfecting panning shots of the vehicles going past. It is certainly more difficult than it looks.
