This is a new event in the Bath Jane Austin Festival and we thought it would be a great club photography day. Attendees from the Bath Festival will be leaving Bath at 9.30 to arrive at Lacock National Trust car park at 10.30 and departing from there at 3.40pm. You will therefore be able to see a number of people in Regency costume wandering around Lacock and it will be great photographing them against this lovely village setting.
If you are National Trust members bring your National Trust cards so you don’t get the parking charge and can also photograph people in the grounds of the Abbey which will be £5.00 for the day and the Abbey £21.00 for non members.
Things to look out for on the day where people will be assembling
11.00am - There will be a Regency Dance workshop at the Lacock village hall
12.30pm - people will be making their way to the Red Lion for their lunch
12.30pm - People will also be making their way to the Sign of the Angel Hotel for a cream tea
2.00pm - People will be making their way back to the village hall for a book club event
I think that this event will be popular so I suggest meeting at the Lacock National Trust car park 9am. We can then get people as they arrive both by coach from Bath or under their own steam and also be assured of parking.
